Location,clothing and Props

Preparation was an important factor during the creation of our video. So its always going to know who's doing what. Lots of different elements need to come together for us to have a successful shoot. Below is a short list of all the elements used.

Delegation of roles

Characters: James Lorimer, Gina Fort, Bradley Roche

Cameraman: Unfortunately for us me and Bradley are sometimes needed in front of the camera at the same time, which leaves us with a bit of an issue. Fortunately for us we have our friend Joe Shaw, who has already experience using the camera who kindly offered to come and help us film. This was an ideal compromise. Apart from these times, Bradley was the man behind the camera when me and Gina had shots together.

Editor: James Lorimer

Locations

Car interior

Living Room + other interior of house

Back Garden

Football field

Roadside

Equipment

Camera including battery charger

Tripod

Props

Cigarettes

Football

Mobile Phones

Car

Alcoholic Beverage.

As you can see we are well planned and ready to shoot at short notice.

Storyboard

Here is just one slide of our storyboard this one shows the turning point in the scene where james and gina walk off hand in hand together and leave bradley on his own they walk off away from the camera its a medium shot lastly 2seconds

Our twitter page and feedback

We recently created a twitter page to spread the word about our music video, and try to get some feedback through this social networking site. The results have been very successful getting comments and tweets about the video itself, and amassing a few followers along the way. We feel this is a vital use of the social network, as it gives us a platform to build on and really get some good publicity. Here are some examples below.

Here we have received a tweet about our Media production video, this showed the importance of having a social networking site to promote your product.

Here we have the front of our twitter page, as you can see we have successfully put linked our video from youtube. Also posted different still images from the video and posted a link to our website. All of this helps our audience find out any information they need and lets them delve into anything they are interested in whether it be the video or the website with consummate ease.

Evidence of time management

Although hard to organise group members with other commitments this shows we managed to get most the work done and met at good times to complete the task. We had to remind eachother alot to bring props and costumes etc but it came together in the end.

Actors

We were lucky in that with the storyline we choose that we only needed to have three characters so choosing actors was very simple and didnt take us much time to do.

First characters: James

This role would be played by me, with previous acting experience it was an ideal choice for us, and also made it easy and less time consuming on casting people for a roll which would then be awkward if that person wasnt available when we wanted to film. This character is a strong male character who is good friends with Bradley, but when the female character comes into the equation we see his attention and friendship with Bradleys character weaken.

Second character: Bradley

As we're both in the same group working together, having Bradley as the second male character in our video was once again ideal, it gave us complete freedom on our schedule for filming, and we could shoot the shots where only me and him our featured seperately to any others, and without warning if we found out we need some extra shots during the day. Bradleys characters is also a confident male character who wants to remain good friends with James's character, but when the female character is introduced we see a form of jealousy take hold and anger that his friend is being taken away from him.

Third character: Gina

We decided to cast Gina as the love interest in our video, she was perfect for the role, as her availability for the role was the best, which can keep our schedule open to film whenever we like. Gina's character is very simple in our video, she is the love interest and without realising is keeping James's character away from his friend bradley, increasing tensions between the three of them.

So overall we have come up with a cast which is very capable, and fits our profile for each character and keeps us available for filming, and re-filming if we need to
